**About the Role**

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Clinical Educator to join our team at the University of Nebraska. As a key member of our Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders, you will play a vital role in educating the next generation of speech-language pathologists.

**Responsibilities**

  • Supervise graduate students in clinical settings, providing expert guidance and mentorship to help them develop their clinical skills.
  • Manage electronic medical records with precision and accuracy, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Implement and teach documentation skills to graduate students, equipping them with the knowledge and expertise needed to succeed in their careers.

**Requirements**

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and eligibility for Nebraska State licensure in speech-language pathology.
  • At least five years of clinical experience with a variety of speech-language disorders, demonstrating exceptional written and oral presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently, while maintaining excellent relationships with colleagues, staff, and students.
  • Experience supervising in multiple areas of clinical speech-language practice, preferably with continuing education in clinical supervision of students.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Evidence of independent decision-making, programming development, and leadership skills, as well as experience working with pediatric populations and various disorder types.
  • Continuing education in supervision, as required by ASHA or obtainable prior to employment, is highly valued.

**Work Environment**
