Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled Rad Technologist to join our Cardiovascular team.

About Us

We are a community hospital system nestled in the heart of Oklahoma, renowned for our innovative cardiovascular program and commitment to excellence in patient care. Our state-of-the-art facilities include a new Critical Care Tower with three Cath Lab suites, an Electrophysiology suite, a Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.

Job Summary

This role involves preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient conditions, and establishing a sterile environment. As a Rad Technologist, you will work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. You will also serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in their orientation and training.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare equipment before and during procedures
  • Identify and assess patient conditions
  • Establish a sterile environment
  • Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students
Requirements
  • Completion of 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility
  • Current RCIS certification preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation
  • Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training within 6 months of hire

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Program
  • One year of experience working in a Cath Lab setting preferred
  • Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
