We are seeking a highly creative Graphic Designer to provide graphics support for our social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design and experience with social media trends and branding.

This is a year-round part-time, non-benefitted position with a pay range of $35-$45 an hour. Hours of work and days will vary from 10-30 hours a week dependent on business needs.

The Graphic Designer will assist in the creation of social graphics for use across Angels properties, including game information graphics, milestones, awards, acquisitions, holidays, team announcements, etc. They will collaborate with the social team to brainstorm, conceptualize, execute, and finalize multiple design projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying trends and inspiration and turning them into new concepts to serve the needs of the team
  • Working with existing designs and producing original designs
  • FOLLOWING A STYLE GUIDE AND DEVELOPING A LOOK FOR OUR PLATFORMS WITHIN THE BRAND IDENTITY

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design preferred
  • 2-4 years of experience in related graphic design field
  • Experience and knowledge of social media platforms, sports, MLB, and the Los Angeles Angels
  • Expertise with the Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Strong design fundamentals - solid typography, composition, and attention to detail
