Staff Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Pharmacist to join our team at CareDx, Inc., a leading precision medicine solutions company. This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise and passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

This full-time position is available due to a maternity leave and will provide you with the chance to work collaboratively with our dedicated pharmacy team to achieve our goals. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. You will also play a key role in verifying the work of Pharmacy Technicians and Interns, maintaining established procedures for quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and dispensing/disposal of hazardous drugs.

You will have the opportunity to counsel patients regarding prescription and over-the-counter therapies, administer immunizations, and assist the Pharmacy Manager with implementing changes to workflow or policies and procedures.

This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will interact with patients, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, nurse practitioners, physicians, and other healthcare team members.

• A Ph.D. in Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college of Pharmacy
• Active state licensure (Louisiana Board of Pharmacy) with no disciplinary action
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in retail specialty pharmacy, preferably with PioneerRx proficiency
• Baseline proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.)
