Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Underground Construction Supervisor to oversee the installation of telecommunications infrastructure. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction, leadership, and communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the installation of telecommunications infrastructure using horizontal directional drill rigs and plows.
  • Manage a team of workers to ensure efficient production and growth of Charter's network.
  • Collaborate with the manager of underground construction to maintain open communication and ensure project success.
  • Ensure compliance with city, county, and state clearance codes.
  • Travel 80% of the time to complete projects at different sites.

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience in drilling/locating, underground utility construction, and telecommunication installation construction.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Knowledge of city, county, and state clearance codes.
  • Ability to read and understand maps, drawings, and diagrams.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least five years of experience in horizontal drill operations.
  • OSHA safety certifications and operator qualifications.
