Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 per yearJob Description

The Data Collections and Permit Specialist plays a vital role in obtaining building permit data from across the U.S. This includes:

  • Contacting building departments to obtain electronic copies of building permit data
  • Developing long-term relationships with building departments for reliable and cost-effective data acquisition
  • Analyzing building permit data to ensure quality requirements are met

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to interact with building departments professionally.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A college degree or similar preferred
  • Full-time employment (40 hours) and ability to work a hybrid schedule – 3 days WFH, 2 days in our Asheville, NC office
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to navigate office tools like CRM, email, Word, Excel, and internet searching
