Data Scientist Experimentation Lead

Role OverviewThis role will focus on advancing our Experimentation platform, supporting continuous improvements to user experience and organizational strategies through data-driven experimentation. You will contribute to designing, analyzing, and interpreting our testing calendar, including A/B, holdout, MMT, and switchback tests.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute experimentation strategies, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Enhance statistical rigor, metric alignment, transparency, and effectiveness of our experiment frameworks.
- Research and implement advanced features and methods to improve test velocity, reduce duration, increase sensitivity, and determine sample size accurately.
- Select and define experiment proxy metrics that align with our North Star objectives.
- Evaluate experiment design, including pre-test planning, in-flight monitoring, and post-experiment analysis for graduation decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute domain-specific and global holdout tests, measuring individual and collective impact of initiatives.
- Strong technical experience as a Data Scientist, emphasizing A/B testing and experimentation in a technology-focused organization.
- Deep knowledge of experimental design, statistical methods, and best practices in A/B testing and causal inference.
- Advanced proficiency in programming and data manipulation using SQL, Python, and Spark.
- Strong analytical skills, with ability to derive insights from large datasets.
- Excellent communication skills, presenting complex findings in a structured and transparent manner to non-technical stakeholders.
Tubi offers competitive compensation and benefits, including an estimated annual salary of $140,000, based on industry standards and location.
