Job Summary

Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas.

About the Role

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will be responsible for performing high-quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging scans, applying advanced technical knowledge and maintaining strict attention to patient care. This role requires expertise in providing imaging services for patients of all ages, from neonates to adults, with varying levels of acuity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quality MRI scans, adhering to established protocols and guidelines
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and scan results
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiological Technology or related field
  • Graduation from an accredited program in Radiology
  • 2-3 years of experience in MRI technology, preferably with pediatric focus
  • Strong clinical skills, with ability to handle critical care situations
  • Valid ARRT (RT) (MRI) certification, TMB licensure required within 90 days
