Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team at Creative Financial Staffing. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving financial excellence, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring fiscal integrity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage general ledger accounting activities with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and efficient payment and receipt of funds.
  • Execute month-end close procedures efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with GAAP and relevant financial regulations.
  • Prepare and post journal entries in compliance with GAAP, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Develop and present accurate financial statements and reports to support performance evaluations and strategic decision-making.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives to optimize financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support performance evaluations and identify areas for process improvement.
  • Coordinate tax activities and manage relationships with external auditors to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a proven track record in financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software systems, with the ability to drive process improvements and optimize financial processes.
  • In-depth understanding of GAAP and relevant financial regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance and maintain strong internal controls.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving financial discrepancies.
