Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Leader to join our team at Health First. This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced RN with a BSN degree to lead by example and make a meaningful impact on patient care.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care according to professional nursing standards. Our ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Medication Administration: Ensure safe and effective medication administration to patients, as demonstrated through preceptor observation tools, skills fairs, and clinical practice evaluations.
  2. Patient Care Delegation: Effectively delegate and supervise patient care activities within our healthcare setting, promoting efficient and seamless care delivery.
  3. Communication and Teamwork: Foster effective communication among healthcare team members, promoting a collaborative environment that enhances patient outcomes.
  4. Clinical Practice and Competency: Demonstrate expertise in clinical practice, adhering to age-specific checklists and completing annual competency assessments.
  5. Interdisciplinary Care Planning: Coordinate interdisciplinary plans of care based on evidence-based practices, ensuring comprehensive and patient-centered care.
  6. Care Documentation: Accurately document all nursing care, changes in condition, responses to therapy, treatments, procedures, and referrals on patient records to meet industry standards.
  7. Dependability and Flexibility: Demonstrate dependability, reliability, and flexibility in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  8. Patient Education: Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers as directed by the plan of care, promoting informed decision-making and empowerment.
  9. Sensitivity and Respect: Deliver care with sensitivity and respect for patients' needs, expectations, age, cultural, and individual differences.
  10. Patient Satisfaction: Contribute to positive patient satisfaction scores and HCAHPs ratings by consistently performing purposeful hourly rounding and bedside shift reporting.
  11. Efficient Resource Utilization: Use equipment and supplies economically, minimizing waste and optimizing resource allocation.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
