Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our electrical projects and drive business growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing overall management direction, analyzing new business opportunities, and developing project plans.
Key Responsibilities- Assume primary project leadership responsibilities and partner with key team members and project personnel.
- Evaluate project scope and analyze alternatives to develop optimal construction techniques.
- Plan, organize, and staff key project positions through regional department heads and subordinate project managers.
- Coordinate with project superintendents and fabrication departments to discuss prefabrication possibilities and alternatives.
- Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate policy boundaries.
- Negotiate, prepare, and issue subcontracts.
- Monitor and control construction through administrative direction of on-site project superintendents.
- Prepare and issue master project schedules and variance reports to ensure projects are built on schedule and within budget.
- Research and analyze new materials, manage financial aspects of contracts, and manage risks.
- Actively pursue additional work through change orders and ensure project document controls are in compliance with contract requirements and company standards.
- Supervise and mentor the work of other project managers and assistant project managers, when assigned.
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in construction design, finance, and management.
- Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc., and their impact on project activities.
- Outstanding negotiation and change order management skills.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational and documentation skills.
- Advanced abilities in problem solving, scheduling, and cost control.
- Excellent MS Office skills and ability to learn new software systems.
- Ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee and project performance.
