About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crisis Intervention Team Supervisor to join our team at Franklin County Public Health. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in overseeing the Crisis Intervention Team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the Crisis Intervention Team to ensure a collaborative and coordinated approach to crisis response.
  • Develop and implement community outreach programs to prevent homelessness, mental health, and substance abuse issues.
  • Provide clinical oversight and supervision to the Behavioral Health and Addiction Services Peer Support Specialist program.
  • Collaborate with Care Coordination and Behavioral Health and Addiction Services to evaluate and design community outreach initiatives.
  • Build relationships and awareness of Crisis Intervention with the community and local neighborhoods.
  • Collect and maintain statistical data on crisis incidents handled by FCSO and provide an annual report to inform improvements to the FCSO response to crisis incidents.
  • Assist in the development of Division and Section budgets and monitor expenses against established budget.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work or other social service program.
  • 3 years' directly related experience including assessing physical, mental, social, and economic needs of diverse populations.
  • 2 years' experience in social work case management.
  • Previous supervisory experience: demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative and work collaboratively; strong evaluation skills, excellent professional written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and active listening skills.
  • Current licensure with the State of Ohio as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW); or Marriage & Family Therapist Board as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, or, Licensed Professional Counselor.
  • Ohio Driver's License.
  • Trauma Informed Care certificate preferred.
