Job Title: Licensed Grade 3D Supervisor of Water and SewerAbout the Role:

The City of Medford is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Licensed Grade 3D Supervisor of Water and Sewer to join our Public Works division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of the water distribution and sewer collection system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Oversight: Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the water distribution and sewer collection system, including the management of staff and resources.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and manage a team of staff, including assigning work, providing training, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and procedures, including confined space entry, trench shoring, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of experience in the field of water distribution and/or sewer collection systems, with 5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Licenses and Certifications: D3 Operator's license, valid CDL Class B driver's license, and valid Hoisting 2A – Excavators, Front-end loaders/Backhoes, and Unloaders certification.
