About the Role:

Tetra Tech is seeking a skilled Hazardous Waste Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our environmental services group, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing hazardous waste management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer support for hazardous waste management processes, including pick-up and delivery of containers, and inspection of container contents.
  • Collaborate with the Hazardous Waste Program Manager and Hazardous Waste Management Facility Supervisor to ensure environmental compliance with all environmental protocols.
  • Collect and consolidate materials/wastes for collection/disposal, and transport containers to approved storage locations.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER training required.
  • Medical physical and pass required.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and data management systems.
