We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Genesis HealthCare in Las Cruces, New Mexico. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.

Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients, administering medications, and monitoring patient care provided by unlicensed staff under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This full-time position comes with an estimated salary of $23-$27 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe conditions, and report changes in condition.
  • Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
  • Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
  • Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
  • Be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure.
  • Maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.
