Job Summary:

As an Inventory Associate, you will play a crucial role in the Facilities Management team at the University of Oklahoma. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and maintain the inventory of materials and supplies, ensuring that the department has the necessary resources to operate efficiently. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing inventory, as well as conducting audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with university policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and track inventory levels, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize inventory management.
Receive and store inventory, verifying quantities and condition upon receipt.
Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with university policies.
Develop and maintain inventory reports, providing insights to management and stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless inventory management and distribution.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent, with 24 months of experience in inventory control and/or material management, procurement, or closely related experience.
Working knowledge of inventory control systems and software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

12 months of experience with AiM-AssetWorks inventory management software.
Forklift certification.
