Job Title: Cath Lab Technician

Job Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day: 7am – 5:30pm, varied Monday to Friday with on-call duties during nights and weekends

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Experience: Two or more years of Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology experience in a Level 1 trauma center; Experience with STEMI call required

License: RCIS or ARRT

Certifications: BLS & ACLS

Must-Have:

  • Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Degree in a related field (BA, BS, BSN, AA) or equivalent years of experience
  • Proficiency in English (Reading, Writing, Speaking)

Job Description:

  • Work in a multidisciplinary lab, supporting patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing or interventional procedures.
  • Perform scrub and monitoring duties utilizing all aspects of catheterization equipment.
  • Operate radiology imaging equipment following the prescribed procedures.
