Job Summary

We are seeking a Seasonal Customer Service Team Member to join our team at Michaels in DFW-GRANBURY, TX. As a Customer Service Team Member, you will be responsible for delivering friendly customer service, helping customers shop our store, and finding what they're looking for. You will also ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
  • Checkout Experience: Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience, execute cash handling to standards.
  • Engagement: Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, and complete enrollments.
  • Omni Channel Processes: Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
  • Merchandise Recovery: Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes, and complete merchandise recovery and maintenance.
  • Store In Stock Optimization (SISO): Perform SISO and AD set duties as assigned.
  • Shrink and Safety Programs: Support shrink and safety programs.
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Adhere to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
Work Environment
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
