About the Role

Indiana Public Retirement System (INPRS) is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Human Resources team as an intern. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to the HR Department, assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and HR-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with job applicant review, phone screens, and interview scheduling.
  • Administer applicant questionnaires, PI assessments, and correspondence letters.
  • Contribute to recruitment sourcing and HR metrics.
  • Support new employee orientation activities.
  • Maintain employment records, filing systems, and departmental records.

Requirements:

  • Maintain HR confidentiality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized and structured, with attention to detail.
  • Able to multitask and manage multiple projects.
  • Effective interface with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year in an accredited college pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
