About the Role

At Mercedes-Benz of Asheville, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Automotive Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a luxury brand and provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits that include medical, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability, paid basic life insurance, 401(k) plan, personal time off, paid training, employee vehicle purchase plans, health and wellness, and Saturday lunches. Job Description

  • Build Relationships & Create Customers for Life: Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
  • Be the Vehicle Expert: Know the in's & out's of product offerings, optional packages, and latest technology.
  • Perform Demonstrations: Perform high-quality and professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
  • Follow-up with Buyers: Follow up with buyers to ensure referral business.
  • Sales Situations: Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations.
  • Direct Report: Direct report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.

Requirements

  • Availability: Available to work flexible hours & weekends.
  • Communication Skills: Fantastic communication skills with your customers.
  • Personal Appearance: Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
  • Driving Record: Acceptable motor vehicle driving record according to dealership guidelines.
  • Background Check: Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check.

Work Environment

  • Standing and Walking: Up to 90% standing and walking in all weather conditions.
  • Noise Level: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Talking and Listening: The position is constantly engaged in talking and listening.
