Job Overview

The position of Education Specialist - Student Development at Soliant Education in Doylestown, PA, requires a skilled School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services to students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify students' academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans in collaboration with special education teams
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff to design and implement interventions that support student success
  • Participate in special education eligibility meetings and help determine the appropriate services for students
  • Monitor the progress of students receiving psychological services and adjust interventions as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
  • Valid Pennsylvania School Psychologist certification (or eligibility for certification)
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessments, interventions, and counseling techniques
  • Experience working with diverse student populations, including special education (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to special education and school psychology
