Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Airport Capital Projects Manager to join our team at Cornerstone Concilium, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a multi-disciplined team of planners, architects, engineers, and other professionals to guide the planning, design, permitting, procurement, construction, and activation of various airport capital improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of professionals to guide the planning, design, and construction of airport capital improvement projects
  • Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to develop a business case for potential capital projects
  • Develop and present preliminary design alternatives and comparative analysis to address requests and/or concerns from LAWA leadership and/or project stakeholders
  • Review planning and design submittals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance to applicable project requirements
  • Solicit feedback from internal and external project stakeholders and guide design teams through competing interests and project constraints
  • Manage planning and design efforts throughout all stages of a project to ensure that projects fulfill their mission, while remaining on-schedule and on-budget

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, and/or related field
  • Minimum 10+ years of professional experience, preferably on large complex airport capital projects
  • Licensed Architect or Engineer is desirable (but not required)
  • Optional certifications such as AAAE, CASp, LEED, PMP, etc. are desirable
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerBI, etc.)
  • Familiar with planning and design software (AutoDesk, Sketchup, etc.)
