We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Per Diem Pool at Mount Sinai Union Square. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Care Planning
Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and social needs, and develop individualized care plans to address these needs.
Medication Administration and ManagementAdminister medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions and side effects.
Communication and CollaborationCommunicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and delivery.
Education and TrainingParticipate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in nursing care.
Requirements- Education
Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
ExperienceDocumented previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a similar role.
CertificationsCurrent certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), as well as any other relevant certifications.
