Job Summary
This is a non-management position that will report to a supervisor, director or executive. As an Emergency Room Technician, you will work in collaboration with physicians, residents, and other medical staff to provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend all traumas in the emergency department and assist physicians as needed.
- Monitor and maintain orthopedic equipment and supplies.
- Perform cast and splint applications under physician's orders.
- Collaborate with clinical and medical staff to provide special order patient care supplies.
- Stock medical supplies and PPE as assigned.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Orthopedic or clinical/medical experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills, including knowledge of office equipment and proficient computer skills (word processing).
- Basic computer knowledge of Windows operating environment.
Work Environment
This position is based at 1510 Richland Hospital, where you will work night shifts in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
Compensation and Benefits
Our competitive salary for this role is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
