Concierge - Resident Relations

As a key member of the Resident Relations team at Orchard at Brookhaven, the Concierge plays a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming experience for our residents, families, and visitors. This dynamic individual will serve as the first point of contact, demonstrating exceptional communication and organizational skills to ensure seamless interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, residents, and families, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage the front desk schedule, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours and maintaining a high level of service quality.
- Respond to inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner, utilizing strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Maintain security protocols, controlling access and monitoring logbooks to ensure the safety and security of our residents and staff.
- Keep office areas clean and well-stocked, adhering to high standards of tidiness and organization.
- Serve as a liaison between departments, fostering effective communication and collaboration to achieve shared goals.
- Assist with employee onboarding, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth transition into their new role.
- Complete administrative tasks accurately and efficiently, utilizing Microsoft Office and database input skills to maintain high levels of productivity.
- Receive and sort daily mail and deliveries, updating appointment calendars and scheduling meetings as needed.
- Perform various clerical duties, including filing, photocopying, collating, and faxing, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all residents, families, visitors, and staff, embodying the Orchard at Brookhaven F-A-M-I-L-Y values and best practices.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven customer service experience and skills, with a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, utilizing strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with residents, families, and staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database input, with a strong ability to learn new applications and systems.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of our residents.
- Physical requirements include standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and bending, stooping, and twisting as needed.
