Overview

LMI is seeking a highly skilled Supply Technician to support the U.S. Border Patrol Headquarters in the National Capital Region. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing logistical support to our client, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of government property.
  • Conduct physical inventories and maintain accurate records of inventory, stock, and property accounts.
  • Screen excess assets for reutilization, sales, or disposal within the Border Patrol, CBP, DHS, and government-wide enterprises.
  • Provide asset management and accountability support to ensure compliance with government regulations.
  • Occasional driving of a government vehicle may be required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Supply Technician or in a similar role.
  • Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance abuse, and employment verifications.
  • Active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with SAP is desirable.
  • Physically capable of lifting 25 lbs.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Customer service skills.
  • A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.
