About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Traveling MRI Imaging Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to work in Springfield, Illinois.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment, ensuring accurate image production, and providing exceptional patient care. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic services to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
  • Screen patients for MRI safety and position them correctly for scans
  • Operate MRI equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety
  • Assist radiologists with procedure performance and start IVs as needed
  • Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality and maintain accurate patient records
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist
  • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT National Certification
  • BLS certification
  • State-specific licensing when required
Working Conditions

This is a travel assignment, and you will be working in various locations across America. You must be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. A sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology is essential for this role.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated at $120,000 per year, based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week. Additional benefits include paid sick leave, travel reimbursement, liability insurance, vision, dental, and health coverage. We also offer housing subsidies and easy stay programs.
