About This Opportunity

Columbus Veterinary Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate veterinarian to join our team. As a veterinarian at our hospital, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality care to our patients while developing strong relationships with their owners.

Responsibilities
  • Perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures to deliver the highest quality care to our patients.
  • Develop a rapport with clients and determine their needs and wishes, communicating effectively to ensure their understanding of their pet's health and treatment plan.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client/patient medical/surgical records, adhering to established protocols.
  • Stay current with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine, attending Continuing Education meetings to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure the delivery of exceptional client service and high-quality care.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Georgia.
  • Professional comportment and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
  • The ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members.
  • Respect for and willingness to work with clients and their pets.
  • A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine, upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
