Job Title: Sales Development Representative

At J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a critical role in developing and securing contacts with executive-level buyers to help sell Dedicated Contract Services (DCS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop business opportunities with executives at prospective DCS customers through lead generation efforts, including telephone, email communications, and marketing initiatives.
  • Evaluate prospective business opportunities using a prescribed customer qualification process.
  • Schedule introductory meetings with prospective executive-level customers and Business Development Executives, effectively communicating our transportation service offerings.
  • Maintain a pipeline of prospective executive-level customer contacts and sales leads for assigned Business Development Executives, actively utilizing the company's sales contact database.
  • Meet or exceed sales quota standards set forth by management, including contacts per week and meetings per month.
  • Collaborate with Market Research Analysts in the region to plan and deliver marketing efforts.
  • Network within the organization to identify key contacts and relationship owners for strategic opportunities.
  • Travel with Business Development Executives to support sales proposals, sales kick-offs, trade shows, and customer quarterly business review meetings.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience, or 3-4 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a similar field.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Communications, or Marketing. Relevant experience in customer service, account management, marketing, or sales.

This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will be required to work in the United States of America, specifically in the state of Arkansas, with occasional travel to other locations.
