Job Title: Clinical Instructor - LPN Educator

Job Summary:

Goodwin University is seeking a qualified Clinical Instructor - LPN Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing LPN students during their clinical rotation and evaluating their associated written clinical packet and other assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the clinical experience in acute care, long-term care, or clinic settings
  • Review and provide weekly feedback to students on clinical packets
  • Complete a midterm and final evaluation for each student
  • Attend professional development activities to remain informed of current trends and new approaches to instruction/clinical practice
  • Provide a meaningful pre- and post-clinical conference to enhance student's clinical learning/experience

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in nursing
  • Current and active RN License in the state of Connecticut (or eligible)
  • 3-5 years of nursing experience
  • Clinical expertise in current evidence-based practice
  • Teaching experience with nursing students is preferred
