About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing evaluation and treatment services for patients referred with speech, language and/or swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' communication and swallowing function using clinical evaluations, videofluoroscopic oropharyngeal swallowing evaluations, and fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallow (FEES).
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to maximize patients' function and improve their quality of life.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective coordination and delivery of therapies.
  • Manage patient caseloads and prioritize referrals and discharges.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to policy development and program implementation.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology from the state of Massachusetts.
  • Experience with video fluoroscopic oropharyngeal swallowing and FEES evaluations preferred.
