Job Overview
The Fitness Department Director is a dynamic business leader responsible for driving operational excellence and delivering exceptional member experiences. This role requires goal-oriented, results-driven individuals who are passionate about developing and managing high-performing teams.

Business Leadership
As a Business Leader, you will be responsible for the management of trainers, including monthly performance development meetings, sales projections, calendar management, lead and client communication, and oversight of trainers delivering complimentary services. You will conduct timely and relevant business management meetings to support trainer development, ensure accountability of team's business deliverables by setting targets, following up, providing feedback and support for progress, and collaborate with Membership Advisors for PT Sales takeovers.

Operational Management
In this role, you will lead the operational and sales components of New Hire Onboarding, provide PT business and sales coaching, utilize scheduling tools to create floor schedules and manage the team's ability to deliver service on the floor, generate PT Sales leads, schedule lead generation activities, and support trainer development to build a successful business. You will set goals in support of in-club special events, execute proper follow-up post-event, produce and host monthly PT department forums, implement and execute all operational SOPs, and support trainers through financial planning as it relates to the compensation plan.

KPI Management
You will achieve monthly and annual department financial goals, proactively address business trends in fitness assessment conversions, client attrition, and client training frequency, and perform performance management of all trainers and coaches.

Client Relationship Management
As a Client Relationship Manager, you will communicate with potential leads and all clients, manage optimal staffing targets to meet the needs of the business, which includes the interview and hiring process, and establish and maintain friendliness and service standards for trainers in their interactions with members and club staff. You will also identify, collaborate, and align on key talent to advance trainer careers.

To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate the ability to drive financial performance, exhibit sales skills with a focus on attracting new clients and retention, possess strong business acumen, ability to create a positive team culture with adherence to brand standards, and demonstrate leadership capability. You must also possess collaborative social skills and a strong desire to interact with members, clients, and staff, ability to manage high volumes of inbound communication and react in a timely manner, and ability to create team accountability through structured timelines, action plans, and required documentation.
