Digifabshop is seeking a skilled Architectural Woodworker to join their team in Longmont, CO.
This is an ongoing position with no fixed end date.
Key Responsibilities- Design and manufacture high-quality wooden components for architectural and cabinetry projects.
- Read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and plans to ensure accurate execution of designs.
- Select and source materials, including wood, veneers, and hardware, considering factors such as durability, aesthetics, and budget constraints.
- Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and equipment safely and efficiently to shape, cut, and join wood.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the manufacturing and installation processes to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and practices to ensure a safe working environment for self and colleagues.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and other team members to achieve project goals and meet client expectations.
- Demonstrated experience as a woodworker or cabinetmaker.
- Proficiency in woodworking techniques, machinery, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Knowledge of wood types, finishes, and joinery methods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Safety-conscious mindset.
The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and repeatedly, stand continuously for up to 2 hours at a time, and meet other physical requirements specified in the job description.
