About the Opportunity

We are seeking an Eye Care Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis, working three days per week as an independent contractor. The ideal candidate will be a licensed Optometrist or Ophthalmologist with expertise in performing thorough eye exams, including Visual Field Testing (VFT).

Responsibilities

  • Review Veterans' medical records through a secure web portal to analyze exam findings and create accurate, timely reports.">
  • Perform comprehensive eye exams, utilizing advanced testing equipment and techniques to ensure the highest level of care.">
  • Complete and submit evaluation forms via the web portal within 24 hours of the exam.">

Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you must possess:

  • ">
  • A current license to practice as an Optometrist or Ophthalmologist.">
  • Experience with Visual Field Testing (VFT) and other advanced eye examination techniques.">
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.">
  • A passion for serving Veterans and delivering exceptional patient care.">

Compensation

">

This is a part-time opportunity with a competitive hourly rate, estimated at $65-$85 per hour, depending on experience. As an independent contractor, you will enjoy autonomy and flexibility in your schedule, while contributing to the important work of supporting Veterans' healthcare assessments.
