Marketing Strategist for Multi-Unit Healthcare Centers

American Family Care (AFC) is one of the largest primary and urgent care companies in the U.S., providing services seven days a week on a walk-in basis. Our state-of-the-art centers focus on the episodic treatment of acute illnesses and injuries, workers compensation and occupational medicine.
AFC is the parent company of AFC Franchising, LLC (AFCF), and this position will be in that division, working directly with franchise owners of American Family Care centers.
Job Summary
We are seeking a self-motivated and confident communicator for a Marketing Consultant position at our Birmingham, AL headquarters. The successful candidate will partner with franchise owners to teach best practices and develop and implement marketing strategies to improve their performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support franchisees during the center onboarding phase, including developing strategic marketing plans and assisting with implementation.
- Conduct regular consultation calls with franchisees regarding marketing management, customer service, patient experience, and other company initiatives.
- Cultivate and preserve Franchisee/vendor relationships to ensure brand integrity and consistency across designated franchise territory.
- Implement company marketing policies, procedures, programs, and new concepts with designated franchisee territory.
- Manage website presence, including alignment with local listings and social platforms.
- Secure local intelligence to inform marketing programs and campaigns.
- Develop B2C and B2B activation guides to support franchisees.
- Work closely with operational and franchise partners to drive business growth.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of validated experience in marketing, sales, or business development.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time-management skills.
- Adept across various traditional and digital channels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and client-service relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience using tools like Google Analytics, SEMRush, and marketing tech stacks like Salesforce, HubSpot.
What We Offer
The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
