About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lead Emergency Department Nurse to join our team at Tenet Massachusetts. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice.

Job Summary:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned nurse to take on a leadership role in our busy Emergency Department. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical patient care, as well as supervising staff to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to registered nurses and other healthcare staff to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Provide education and training to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge in emergency nursing.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
  • At least 2 years of experience in emergency nursing, with a proven track record of leadership and expertise in critical care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
