Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Specialist
Location: Correctional Facility
About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team at TEEMA Group. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing diagnostic imaging services to inmates in a correctional facility.
Responsibilities:
- Perform X-rays and other diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and accuracy.
- Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Position patients correctly to ensure high-quality images.
- FOLLOW RADIATION SAFETY PROTOCOLS TO ENSURE A SAFE WORK ENVIRONMENT.
- Prepare and assist inmates during procedures, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Monitor patient well-being and review image clarity to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Keep detailed records of patient information, procedures, and results.
- FOLLOW INSTITUTIONAL POLICIES AND REGULATIONS AT ALL TIMES.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.
- Work effectively with medical and correctional staff to ensure seamless coordination of care.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with inmates and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology.
- Certification as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) by the State of California Department of Health Services for Radiological Technology.
- Venipuncture certificate and Fluoroscopy permit (where applicable).
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in radiologic technology.
