Responsibilities:
The Role:
We are looking for an adaptable, self-motivated digital verification engineer to join our team. As a key contributor, you will be part of a leading team to drive and improve AMD's abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry-leading technologies to market. The Verification Engineering team further encourages continuous technical innovation to showcase successes as well as facilitate continuous career development.

Requirements:
You have a passion for modern complex processor architecture, digital design, and verification in general. You are a team player who has excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with other engineers located in different sites/time zones. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are willing to learn and ready to take on problems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop/Maintain tests for functional verification.
- Build testbench components to support the next IP.
- Maintain or improve current test libraries to support IP level testing.
- Create UVM testbench components to build to verify the IP.
- Triage regression results and debug failures.
- Analyze coverage data and drive it to closure.

Experience:
Proficient in IP level ASIC verification.
Proficient in debugging firmware and RTL code using simulation tools.
Proficient in using UVM testbenches and working in Linux and Windows environments.
Strong experience in HDL, verification, and general logic design/verification concepts.
Developing UVM based verification frameworks and testbenches, processes, and flows.
Strong analytical problem solving, and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated.

Salary:
An estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience.

At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive.
