Manufacturing Operations Specialist

The Manufacturing Operations Specialist will be responsible for the final assembly of paper handling modules used in complete mailing systems. This individual will work closely with engineering specifications and verbal instructions to assemble components and sub-systems onto base platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Mechanical aptitude with experience utilizing hand tools, power assisted fastening tools, jigs & dies, and factory support items.
- Basic blueprint reading and understanding, as well as work instruction reading and comprehension.
- Perform general troubleshooting and repair of defects.
- Work independently with moderate supervision and collaborate as a team member.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Good mechanical aptitude; fluent in reading and understanding English – grade 12 level or higher; Math skills – grade 12 level or higher; familiarity with hand tools.
- PREFERRED: 1-3 years in an industrial or electromechanical environment; familiarity with elementary electronics: PCB/circuit design, PLC operation, system testing.
$45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
