Cafe Barista

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cafe Cook/Barista to join our team at Java Haus in Snohomish, WA. As a key member of our 17-person strong team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee and tea, as well as food preparation and kitchen work.

• Prepare and serve beverages, including coffee, tea, and other specialty drinks
• Prepare and serve food, including sandwiches, pastries, and other menu items
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for all guests
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the bar area and kitchen
• Operate brewing and kitchen equipment, including espresso machines and ovens
• Comply with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless service

• 6+ months of experience as a barista or in a kitchen (BOH) role
• Ability to work weekends and flexible scheduling
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Food handlers' permit required
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

• Competitive hourly rate: $25.00/hour
