Job Title: Early Childhood Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to assist the Child Care Program Director in providing exceptional care and support to young learners. As an Early Childhood Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Support the development of child guidance principles and practices.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff members, both orally and in writing.
  • Perform basic record-keeping techniques and understand oral and written instructions.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma, GED certificate, or demonstrated progress toward obtaining a GED as required by Kentucky law.
  • Experience working with children in an organized setting is highly desirable.
Compensation and Benefits:

The salary for this position is approximately $38,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Franklin County Schools offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.

Evaluation and Growth:
