This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled nurse to work in a fast-paced environment providing critical care services to patients around the world. As a Critical Care Nurse with International SOS, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects and make a real difference in the lives of our clients.

Job Summary:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate direct and indirect clinical care to patients
  • Competently function as a member of the interdisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care
  • Serve as an advocate for the patient and their family, ensuring their rights and beliefs are respected
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting physical assessments, including psychiatric or admission assessments
  • Administering medication(s) as prescribed by physicians
  • Processing physician orders in a timely and accurate manner
  • Monitoring vital signs and responding to any changes
  • Testing blood glucose levels and completing treatments as required
  • Conducting pain assessments and providing appropriate interventions
  • Changing dressings and providing venipuncture services as needed
  • Managing the milieu and maintaining a safe and respectful environment
  • Utilizing electronic health records to document patient care and communicate with the healthcare team
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of three (3) years of psychiatric nursing experience
  • Licensure in New Hampshire and no record of prior or pending disciplinary action against your licensure
  • An active out-of-state compact license or eligibility to obtain one
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Prioritization of Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification is preferred
