Operations Area Specialist - Building Services

Job Description:

As an Operations Area Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our properties. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing exceptional customer service, communication, and time management skills.
  2. Monitoring control systems and emergency response systems.
  3. Responding to emergency situations in a timely manner.
  4. Maintaining accurate daily logs, records, and forms.
  5. Maintaining a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property.
  6. Working shifts that are subject to change based on property needs.
  7. Checking in with the Property Manager during the issuance of Tropical Storm or Hurricane Watch or Warning.
  8. Being courteous and respectful to fellow employees, residents, and guests.
  9. Maintaining assigned areas in a neat and safe manner.
  10. Ensuring safety procedures are maintained and adhered to.
  11. Attending mandatory staff meetings.
  12. Supervising moves, deliveries, and checking on the status of all unit owner construction.
  13. Assisting the Receiving Department as needed.
  14. Assisting Unit Owners, Residents, and Guests in a courteous, helpful manner.
  15. Retrieving packages for Residents as needed.
  16. Relieving the Receiving Clerk as needed.
  17. Relieving the Front Desk staff as needed.
  18. Monitoring the Valet Personnel.
  19. Checking the First Alarm Panel at the beginning and end of each shift.
  20. Assisting the Property Manager and Administrative Assistant as needed.
  21. Responding to emergencies and assisting as necessary.
  22. Reporting problems to the Property Manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalency.
  2. FA CPR AED Certification is desirable.
  3. Two (2) or three (3) years of experience in a similar position.
  4. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  5. A strong customer service background.
  6. Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  7. Multiple language fluency is desirable.
  8. A strong command of information system hardware/software.
  9. A valid Florida Driver's License.

Benefits:

As a part-time associate, you will be eligible for supplemental benefits, including dental and vision, as well as 401k with company match. The estimated salary for this role is $19.00 per hour, based on the company's needs and the location of the property.

Schedule:

The schedule for this role varies based on the needs of the business. Weekend and holiday availability are required.
