Job Summary
The Front Desk Associate at Exceptional Community Hospital serves as the primary point of contact for patients, visitors, and vendors. This role requires exceptional communication and customer service skills to provide a positive experience for all individuals interacting with the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Register patients in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring accurate and complete information is collected.
- Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and vendors to address their needs and concerns.
- Maintain confidentiality and observe HIPAA compliance at all times.
- Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and scanning documents.
- Facilitate deposits and cash reconciliations during shift change.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a patient registration or front desk role is preferred.
- Working knowledge of insurance identification and terminology is beneficial.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this position.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a professional demeanor under pressure.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Work Schedule
- Full-time position with a minimum of 2 shifts per month on weekends, day, and night shifts.
- Day shift hours are 7a – 7p.
