Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Nurse Specialist to join our team at Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit, MO. This part-time day shift position will allow you to work with primarily orthopedic patients, but also overflow from general surgery and medical patients. Our team is passionate, diverse, and dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Delegate patient care tasks and supervise other patient care staff
  • Coordinate the plan of care for assigned patients and consult with the healthcare team as needed
  • Demonstrate proficiency in policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2 years of applicable experience
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
  • RN licensure in Missouri (National Council of State Boards of Nursing)
  • Associate Degree in Nursing
