Accounts Payable Specialist

Staffmark Investment, LLC is seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's close-knit team in Dayton, Ohio, on a contract-to-hire basis. Our client, a leader in the water and wastewater management industry, is known for its commitment to solution-based consulting and community support.
Responsibilities:
- Process project-related invoices and manage subcontracts and large purchase orders.
- Ensure compliance with Purchase Order and Subcontract documentation.
- Reconcile retainage requests and compile weekly Open Payable Reports.
- Perform check runs, manage sales tax, and maintain spreadsheets.
- Provide general administrative support to various departments.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Job Costing.
- Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Previous Accounts Payable experience.
