This part-time position offers a predictable schedule, with Fridays from 8am to 6pm and occasional PRN shifts to cover vacations. The role is based in a clinical setting, providing an opportunity to work independently while still being part of a supportive team.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform disability assessments on United States Veterans. As a key member of our team, you will review medical records electronically through a secure web portal, conduct focused physical exams, and document findings using the VA's approved system. Your expertise will be essential in analyzing data and exam results to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must hold a current, unrestricted NP or PA license accredited by the NCCPA. You should also meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA and be proficient in using a computer. Excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to stay on task are crucial for meeting the demands of this position.
