About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CRNA to join our dynamic team at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive peri-operative anesthesia services to all surgical specialties, including Neurosurgery, Orthopedic, Pediatric, and Thoracic Surgery.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be part of a talented team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs who provide care to patients undergoing various types of surgery.

With a new hospital building equipped with state-of-the-art operating rooms and a surgical robot, we offer a unique opportunity for professional growth and development. Our flexible work schedule allows for a balance between work and personal life.

In this role, you will also have opportunities for teaching and research collaborations with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Providing high-quality patient care and anesthesia services
  • Working collaboratively with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals
  • Participating in educational programs and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
  • New York State RN License and Registration
  • BSN or MSN degree
