Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Monitor Technician II to join our team at the North Carolina Division Office. This role plays a vital part in the lives of cardiac patients, ensuring their safety and well-being through continuous monitoring and prompt response to any adverse events.

About the Role

As a Cardiac Monitor Technician II, you will be responsible for observing telemetry monitors, recognizing and documenting rhythm tracings, and continuously monitoring Cerner Patient Observer "CPO." You will also proactively alert nurses and other caregivers to prevent patient falls, elopement, safety issues, and visitor monitoring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observe telemetry monitors continuously, recognizing and documenting rhythm tracings
  • Monitor Cerner Patient Observer "CPO" for patient movement and alert nurses/caregivers as needed
  • Prevent adverse events such as patient falls, elopement, safety issues, and visitor monitoring
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in a healthcare environment (CNA, EMT, or related areas)
  • Comparable experience and skills considered

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including comprehensive medical coverage, dental and vision benefits, and a 401(k) plan with a 100% match on 3% to 9% of pay (based on years of service).
