We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. This is a 0.9 FTE full-time position working on a night shift.
About the RoleAs an Emergency Department RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient needs, providing timely and effective interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including ordering and administering medications, performing procedures, and providing education to patients and families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
- 1 year - Nursing experience.
